This is a preliminary privacy policy published to describe our practices at launch. It is under active legal review and may be updated before and after Pinnacle is generally available. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.

Pinnacle is a product of Pinnacle Fi, Inc. ("Pinnacle," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Pinnacle to help you track investments and get AI-generated ideas — not to profit from your personal data. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication credentials, handled by our authentication provider (Google Firebase).
Portfolio and app data. Holdings, watchlists, risk-tolerance preferences, and questions you ask Orion, so the app can track your portfolio and generate ideas for you.
Device and usage data. Basic technical data (device type, app version, and, if you opt in, a push-notification token) needed to operate the app and send alerts you request.

How we use your information

To provide core features: portfolio tracking, real-time prices, Orion analysis, and alerts.
To send push notifications you have enabled (you can turn these off any time).
To process subscriptions through our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Third-party services

Pinnacle relies on a small set of processors to function: Google Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payments), market-data providers (for prices and news), and an AI provider that powers Orion's analysis. These services process data only as needed to provide their function. We do not sell your data or share it for third-party advertising.

Data retention & your choices

We keep your account and portfolio data while your account is active. You can delete your holdings and watchlist at any time in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Children

Pinnacle is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
